So..my all time FAVORITE place in the United States is hands down California. I love Los Angeles (specifically the West Hollywood/Beverly Hills area) and would live there in a heartbeat if it wasn’t for the traffic and cost of living. So just a dream…but traveling there is seriously my happy place! I’ve been to LA several times and I honestly think that city was made for just me. The first time I went I was like…I feel at home. Now after visitng about4 times, I feel like I have the city figured out based on what I like to do! Thats why I wanted to share my favorite things to do in LOS ANGELES with yall! From my favorite restaurants, things to do, and where to stay!

I learned very quickly on one of my first trips to the city where my favorite place in Los Angeles was- West Hollywood. I love the restaurants, hotels, the nightlife, the shopping, the people watching and the day dreaming of life in the not so far away Beverly Hills… We always stay in West Hollywood because of the location! Specifically on the Sunset Strip because most of the hotels have gorgeous rooftop views and there are great restaurants.

My Favorite Things to Do in the Los Angeles Area:

I’m pretty extra, so I ALWAYS rent a convertible to explore the city even if its just for a day or two, theres nothing like driving around Cali in a convertible
If you rent a car, you MUST take a drive along Mullholland Drive. One of the best scenic drives in the US, and this is where you can see the Hollywood sign!
Visit the Grove Farmers Market
Go to Santa Monica
Pool Hop along the Sunset Strip - Specifically the Sky Bar at the Mondrian
Take a day trip and drive to Laguna and Eat at Las Brisas
Shop on Melrose & Window Shop on Rodeo Drive
Visit the Griffith Observatory for a beautiful view of the City
On our last trip we randomly found this restaurant/bar called “Craigs.” The reviews said celebs go there so of course I wanted to check it out and we decided to stop by for a drink. And we will 100% go back every time we’re in Los Angles from now on. At first we thought it might be cheesy, but it was my only time in LA seeing the paparazzi go crazy & it was so fun to see celebs & paparazzi outside waiting for them to get done eating! Most of the celebs that go here want to be seen by the paparazzi- we saw Tara Reid. Haha. But it was such a fun experience and felt like something you have to do in Hollywood!
