Hey yall! I’m Ally and I'm a Senior Stylist and The Director of Education at a wonderful salon in Austin, Texas called Blonde Faith. I help train, and educate new stylists, and have been at Blonde Faith since we opened in 2013. Click here to read more about me and how I got started!  

I have been a Hairstylist since 2009 and am SO lucky to be able to wake up every day and have my passion, hobby and career all in one. After being in the industry and seeing many different types of clients I realized there are so many questions clients have about their salon visits, that go unanswered. I started this blog to help educate clients about their salon visit, give tricks and tips to simplify your beauty routines, and to provide information about hair color, and everything beauty related. 

My passion for beauty started at the age of 5...I used to sit with my grandma every morning and we would put on our makeup together, in middle school I would cut and style my friends hair and in High School I changed my hair color more than I changed my boyfriends. I was that girl who always had her hair done and would never dream of going anywhere without makeup on. So, it only made since that after graduating high school early, I enrolled in beauty school.

At 18 years old I started my career by taking an intensive apprenticeship at one of the top salons in the Chicago area. The following year was most definitely a roller coaster...but I learned so much. The salon owner was intimidating, tough and absolutely fabulous, she gave me exactly what I needed to succeed in this industry, and I truly wouldn't be where I am today without her.  

After my Internship, I decided to move back to my home of Austin and found my dream salon, Blonde Faith. I am SO SO SO lucky to work in such a supportive salon environment, and am forever grateful to have a boss and salon owner that is constantly helping me succeed and pushing me to be the best. Another wonderful woman I am so grateful for who helped me become the successful stylist I am today. From the minute my career at Blonde Faith began, I knew it would be my forever home..so don't worry y'all, I'm not going anywhere! ;) 

Outside of the salon, I like to spend time with my husband and son. I recently became a mom and It is the best journey in life so far! We love to travel, try new restaurants, cook, play games and enjoy life.
